Happy New Year!

December was an incredible month for Peridot! As the month approached, it's true, I was a bit nervous about the series of trunk shows I lined up. Was I really going to be able to enjoy the fact that every Friday I would be at "work" from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.? If you can imagine throwing a party for 30 of your friends every Friday for three weeks in a row well, then you can imagine being me in December. I played host all month long...no joke! It turns out that it was a great role for me. As the shows came and went each one became easier to organize and coordinate and I became more relaxed. This allowed me to connect with my guests more, which is what I really love about the shows. Hell! What is more fun then hanging out with great artists and designers, drinking wine, sharing stories about our inspirations, how we all got to this place and what our next dreams (big or small) are??? Really! It was all my pleasure. In the past year I've met more incredible people! Enjoy the pictures below.

As a small neighborhood boutique, Peridot loves Tulle! The designs are fun and sophisticated. Simple and Fresh. The price points are fantastic! Kim and Elizabeth

Kim is a local fashion designer who has established her self through stores like Cicada in down town Seattle. Look for her at Peridot through the month of February. We're honored and excited to have her designs for sale at the store.

Elizabeth is a fellow Midwesterner...Northern Midwest to be clear. She designs jewelry that is definitely an expression of her inner beauty. In addition she is a sculptor. Sculptor of what? Well, Bear! That's right! Bear! These little guys come in an assortment of colors. Personally, I love the white ones that glow in the dark! Madeleine

Madeleine is the newest addition to the team of Peridot girls. We love her! The necklace is designed and created by Elizabeth. Rebecca Agiewich

Rebecca is a local writer who got her start blogging about her dating experiences. She's working on her second book now. You can meet her January 17, at the next Girl Power Hour: Where Social Circles Collide www.girlpowerhour.com. Peridot is also happy to say that Rebecca has been a long time customer. We met while she was shopping one day. Her books sold well at the store over the Summer, the perfect day at the beach read. Her book is funny and real.
